plot outline

in our opening title sequence we want close up shots of letters to one another, we want it to seem as if the camera is reading the letters.. for example
'To my love Gabrielle etc etc etc..... WRITTEN BY FINOLA WOODCOCK.'
'To my dearest Benjy,i cant believe this is happening to us etc etc.....PRODUCED BY JACK WICKS'
Then after a few letters have been shown, we want the cameras to pan out to an establishing shot of a hospital bed where gabrielle sits and reads a letter looking weak and ill. After this we want lots of fast paced editing shots of both of the couples sending the letters. For example benj putting a letter into a letter box. we want to convey their emotion without any dialogue.
Whilst all of this is happening we want Ben howard - 'it's only love' or 'keep your head up' playing.
WE WANT A FLASH BACK NOW.
Then we want lots of leaves to fall down and the camera to follow individual leaves until they hit the ground, then they will have the names of the credits on them we want the music to fade into 'toothpaste kisses' by the maccabees. Then we want the camera to have an establishing shot of a forest, as it pans up the couple comes into focus holding hands talking, skipping, giggling and jumping in puddles. whilst the music is playing we still want no dialogue and then you see them both mouth to each other 'i love you' whilst gazing into each others eyes. we want to show some unhappiness in gabrielle though, but subtly. We want then close up shots of both of their faces, going back and forth from gabby to benj and slowly the emotion changes on their faces. after 30-40 seconds of the song we want it to fade into the dialogue and then you hear gabby say to tearful benjamin 'im really ill benj, im terminal. i am going to die' or you dont hear her say anything.
