OUR MOVIE OPENING

characters and location

This is Maddy elliot who is playing the character Gabrielle in our film opening, we wanted her to have her own sense of style, edging towards the bohemian style because we thought that our target audience would relate to her individuality.














This is Tom Harries playing the character Benjamin in our film

opening. We wanted his unique style to suit 'Gabrielle' to suggest that are meant to be together and that they look like a good couple. We wanted him to come across as free spirited.

 This is Jack Wicks who did a majority of the filming in our opening. Here he is in action.

This is one of our locations where we filmed the opening, we thought it was quite a tranquil, peaceful area where there would be no disturbances and we felt that the location suited what we wanted.

romantic comedy films

romantic comedy films (rom coms) are films with light-hearted, humorous plot lines, centred on romantic ideals such as that true love is able to surmount most obstacles. One dictionary definition is "a funny movie, play, or television program about a love story that ends happily". Another definition states that its "primary distinguishing feature is a love plot in which two sympathetic and well-matched lovers are united or reconciled".

Romantic comedy films are a sub-genre of comedy films as well as of romance films, and may also have elements of screwball comedies and stoner comedies. Some television series can also be classified as romantic comedies.
